Sail on a dream...
Fly away...
No more.
Not any more.
There are no more clouds.
They've burst like bubbles yesterday.
The sky looks pale.
Why, is the sun hiding too?
Yes. You'd better go now.
The cab's waiting outside.
But you promised...
Just don't bother.
Those coffee cups are broken.
Wait. Leave the pieces here.
Just leave.

The Moment...
Sunday, June 22, 2008
Ore : 11:21 PM

When the molten rays of the sun paint the sky a softer yellow...
When the bright red leaves peep through the brightness of the greens...
When the vastness of the valley sparks a skip in the step...
When the clouds flow away to eternity...
I wish the moment to stop
I try to hold it within my fingers.
But it somehow eludes my grip and flies.

Happiness is here...
Sunday, March 16, 2008
Ore : 6:26 AM

Have you seen the grain of sand sparkling in bright sunshine?
There you'll find happiness....
Have you heard the two leaf buds whispering to each other?
There you'll find happiness...
Have you felt the shower of leaves dancing in the breeze?
There you'll find happiness...

When
The dew drop whispers its dreams, the flower smiles
And the rains join in fervor...
There is happiness...

In the small things around is the Soul of the World
The Elixir of Life...
That men have been searching eternally.

Afterall she was poor!

Oh, these red veils!

No, don't take my tears to your heart.
For those waters are burning
The flames would melt you down like a candle.

Look. These dainty veils are shivering.
Is it the wind? Huh!
Take these away then...
For they would be set ablaze.

You had asked me to vanquish the world
And I had promised you more.
You lit the fire in me...
And I promised to keep it burning.

Now when the time has come
When I have struggled my way almost ahead of the world...
When the shining peak lies so close...
And I'm all set to conquer and win...
You give me these red veils!

You know the world is bloody behind those veils.
The bond you want to fasten me into...
Is made too strong by your society to break open...
And it was you who taught me what freedom is!

You had taught me to dream in this dim light of the lantern.
You had taught me to be strong when the winds blew our roof away.
You had taught me to respect my self, though I'm poor.
You had taught me that I exist.

And now these red veils!

Why can't I do away with it!
Why can't we still do away with it!
Why can't I....

I Wonder...

I wonder..

While a drop of water trickles down in the desert,
if this is joy...

While the waterfall splashes against the rocks,
if this is ecstacy...

While a leaf quivers in the breeze,
if this is bliss...

While the dewdropy flower smiles with the rising sun,
if this is heaven...

And while you look into my eyes...
If this is love!

For in my heart's rocky desert...
Did a drop and two of your soul trickle
And then the splurge of waves...
Joy, ecstacy, I feel them all...

I feel my quivering breath
And suddenly my wet soul do dance and smile...

While you look into my eyes

And I wonder... if this is love!

Wish you be with me through all phases of my life!

In this life of running fast and faster, "I" was somewhat getting lost in the wilderness. In the rush of the office hours, I was lost. In the irony and coincidence of my daily life, I was lost. Among the masks and masquerades, I was lost.
My "self" went raving for one corner to express itself. The corner where the bud, so long repressed, can find the freedom to bloom.

It was the first of April, 2006. The sun dawned on a new day and I made a new discovery! I cried out of joy! At last I had found the most appropriate thing to gift my 'self'. I decorated it beautifully and quietly went on working. Afterall I had planned a surprise! Later in the day, when the mind brimmed with thoughts, and I went on following norms and the 'self' drooped clumsily, I quietly took it out and Bang! There was the surprise gift - My Blog space! My 'self' was overwhelmed! Searched for great names for such a beautiful gift, and then was born "My World", "Glowing Thoughts" and "Aura of Ecstacy".

It's a year now that you, my Blog space have been my best friend. Many a thoughts have been poured, much happiness shared, many wishes wishes flown, many dreams distributed, much love collected, wise thoughts too. And so I have been making my heart light, increasing my happiness, decreasing my woes and dreaming together, here, on your space.

And today, on your birthday, dear Blog, I wish you a very long life and may you be by my side, just as this, for years to come.

Happy Birthday dear!

Yesterday, today and tomorrow
Monday, March 05, 2007
Ore : 1:00 AM

Life changes, aeons glide by...
Every today becomes a yesterday...
But where is the "today" that every tomorrow promised!

That day was so bright...
Within the golden orb of happiness passed moments unnoticed...
Words sink into oblivion, people part their ways...
But does the memory fade!
Happiness never allows itself to be drowned into the chaotic cosmos...
It rises like Phoenix, from the ashes of yesterday...
And then starts haunting your today.

The sunshine that you enjoyed together,
The book that you read together,
The jokes at which you laughed together,
Every moment, every expression...
Brings the moment of happiness back.

And such drops of happiness trickles down from your eyes...
And asks you to splash in it again...
To search for happiness in your today...
And be happy again in such a way
That you feel...

Let the tomorrow never come!

If You Love...

'myspace

Take me to the zenith of the mountain...
Where I'd feel closer to the heavens,
The winds blowing my hair wild,
The clouds kissing my temple...

Lead me to the water below...
Where the rainbow bathes and the moon,
I'd bathe my soul in the elixir of bliss,
And behold my face where the ripples shone...

Hold my hand, yet let me free...
And never will I part,
Some foamy clouds for you will I bring...
And pour the rippling moon in your heart!

Live well...today!

Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn!
Look to this Day!
For it is Life, the very Life of Life.

In its brief course lie all the Verities and Realities of your Existence.
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendor of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And To-morrow is only a Vision;

But To-day well lived makes
Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness,
And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.

Look well therefore to this Day!
Such is the Salutation of the Dawn!

This has been adapted from anonumous poet. The title is given by me. Really loved the poem, so thought might share it with you people.

The Resplendence...

Beauty beauty everywhere ,
Look for it just anywhere,
Birds or valley, trees or hill,
Or pretty eyes that seem to kill,
A singing bird, a smiling face,
Among the clouds or foamy waves,
Glorious nature beauty create,
No beauty is eternal yet.

How Men Should Love

Hate you not the lilies of her cheeks ,
But try and marvel at the stars of her mind ,
For there you'll find more sharpness,
Sparkling, glittering, yet free of pride.
Hate you not her brick-red lips
But be dazzled at the diamond of her heart,
For it's crystal clear and safely keeps ,
Loyalty, humbleness, which never from her can part.
Hate you not her floating eyes,
But deeply into those do pry,
So deep as to feel her innocence,
And the soft boughs where love's petals lie.
So it's deep within that beauty lies,
And once your love's defined,
You'll feel the ruby in her lips and rosy cheeks,
And brightest of all her starry eyes will you find.

THE BRIGHT RED CORE.

She gazed at the flower with the bright red core holding the white petals together. She smiled and took out the ring she had bought for her wedding - a nice golden round with a ruby studded in the middle. But her brows knitted up suddenly, her smile fainted and she sat graver , on her wheel chair, beside the open window, in the light that seeped through the drawn curtains. Her eyes were fixed to the core of the ring - the hollow core, into which his finger would fit in shortly, giving it its substance, its entirety. The ringed finger flashed before her, the red ruby resting calm and safe on it, just as his 'self' is, in him; and the golden round, starting with the ruby, going down, and ending with it again. So, it was the ruby that gave it support, drew the attention to the hollow ring. She looked at the flower, the red core holding the white petals onto it. A strong wind might blow off the petals, but the core would remain just the same, as red, as bright, holding on firmly to the stem. In strong repugnance, she tore the core away from the stem, separated all the petals and threw the red part away. Then she picked the white petals, one by one, and pinned them together to the stem. And there was another flower made! No less beautiful, the white petals holding on to the green stem, the stem of life! The smile reappeared on her face. She held the 'new' flower firmly to her chest and closed her eyes in deep satisfaction. The mild breeze outside suddenly blew the curtains and a bright ray of sunlight flashed upon her. She moved the curtains apart, and bathed herself in the warmth and brightness of the light, till she felt the seven colors touch her soul. She thus opened her eyes to a new life, with a new confidence, in a new strength, the key to which she at last had found in nature. She threw the wedding ring away, and there she sat triumphant, independent, beside the open window, in the brightness of the new world.
